Romain first worked for a tour magazine in her native Romania when during a boring day she looked through a pornographic magazine. Her boss spotted this and told Romain that she could be in the magazine if she wanted. After he made some contacts, she began working in the adult film business.

After her discovery by the Floyd Agency, an adult film agency, back in 2001, she worked in the European adult industry until August of 2005 when she moved to the United States. She has been represented by Mark Spiegler of Spiegler Girls, Derek Hay of LA Direct Models and Swedish porn director Mikael Grundstrom.

Over the past 5 years she has been one of the most prolific adult actresses in the industry. Sandra plans to retire from the porn industry in the USA in May 2007, she will return to Romania and she intends to do a few more movies for her European director friends Christophe Clarke and Jean-Yves LeCastel. In 2008 she wants to quit the business for good.

In the future she wants to start a family with her husband of 11 years, and she also dreams of building and running a hotel somewhere in Romania.
